We began the day by visiting the Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital of City View, Fort Worth, Texas.  Animal was upset and pouted all day because Joe and Jerry got to ride in a fire engine and he was not invited.  JJ consoled Animal.  Following our visitation at City View, we journeyed to the Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth, Texas for our second visitation of the day.  One picture is worth a thousand words.  Those depicted below represent one small window into all of the events of the day:

Our heartfelt thanks to all of the people at both facilities who made our visits possible and made us feel so welcome.  Phillip Patterson and Chris Sohn went far beyond all expectations to make us feel welcome.  Amanda Pfaff's singing and Barbara Cole's narration were particularly moving. 

Thanks to the Fort Worth Fire Department Engine Number 21 and the Arlington Fire Department Engine Number 9 for their support in escorting us to the Healthsouth facilities.

Meredy was the consumate professional during these visitations and showed her humanity and compassion for so many of the patients that we visited.  Though we kid her a great deal, she is still our guardian angel in so many ways.

Tomorrow, we are looking forward to visiting the Healthsouth Medical Center, Dallas, Texas and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano, Texas.  Check back with us tomorrow for another journal entry.
