Today was a visitation day at the HealthSouth Rehabilitation facility in Nashville and it was a great day to talk with patients and staff. Pictured below is Susan Heath, HealthSouth administrator and Leslie Richerson from the marketing department. The air was cooler and the skies were sunny and it was a great day to visit with all in the open air foyer of the building.
After some brief comments (ok well not brief but somewhat short) from the boys, the gang met some wonderful patients. Pictured here are Terry and Sam who demonstrated a spirit and determination that touched us all.
Here the boys the boys talk about their experiences with Susan and Rob Cox, medical administator at HealthSouth.
The boys smile and talk with Sam, a recent amputee who made our visit a memorable one. Sam it was great to meet you and we wish you well on your rehabilitation.
Lane sports an evil grin during the visitation. Perhaps he is pondering more endless chatter on upcoming bike rides with Bruce and Jim. These boys are like magpies on the road and spend hours talking about mindless subjects while riding, most of which are aimed at Lane. Due to his ability to endure long hours on the bike with these guys, Jim now calls Lane "Lance Armstrong".
Bruce and Mark (with Elizabeth), spend some time with Sam. It was a great day to visit with patients.

Riding on the road is said to impart wonderful miracles. As we were waiting to ride to the facility today, John began to feel an odd sensation. Lane supported his dizzy dad, and to our amazement, he began to grow a limb. Jim congratulates John on his newly regenerated limb
Pictured below is the Tennessee correctional facility where the boys were allowed flexible work release schedules so that they could attend today's visitation. Ok, actually it's a model of the Parthenon in a park near HealthSouth.
Joe holds his head to ease the pounding headaches inflicted from weeks of babysitting the boys. Joe keeps a calendar handy to mark off each day completed and prays nightly for an end to this madness.
The boys with Meredy Fullen, partner in crime for the AAA adventure. Her good humor will be sorely tested over the next week as she spends her time with the boys on the road.
Tomorrow is another skydive day which will include jumps by Trish, Cheryl, Elizabeth, Mark and of Joe. Stay tuned.
