Huntsville, Ala.

Another day, more miles and another state down.  We entered Alabama on our ride today and found time to do more prosthetic testing.  Here a wandering serpent found its way onto one of our rest stops and proceeded to wrap itself around Jim's Pathfinder.  Unable to bite through the carbon fiber, the snake posed for a pic with the boys.  The boys were so taken by the grit and determination of the green and white reptile that it has now become our mascot.

A bridge on our way to Alabama.  The ride was hot but the scenery was beautiful.

Meredy was taken by the countryside and fell in love with a local market.  She took ownership of the establishment and renamed the store in her spouse's honor.

The boys take a break while Bruce checks his leg.  Bicycle shorts never stay rolled up.

The boys ride into Alabama.  Nine states down and two to go.  Tomorrow is a visitation in Huntsville, Alabama.  Another day and another chance to meet with more wonderful HealthSouth staff and patients.
