Quincy Skydive

Today was our final skydive.  We drove to Quincy, Florida for the final event under cloudy skies.  Below are pics from the day's dive.

Here is the King Air that took Joe, Joe's son (Joe Jr.), Mark and Renda from HealthSouth.  Also there to watch the gang skydive was Bruce, Jim and Paige Mitchell from HealthSouth.  This was to be Mark and Renda's second tandem dive.

When we arrived at Quincy the skies were cloudy and threatening rain.  However, after a few hours the clouds parted and the skydive was on.  Below Joe, Joe Jr. and Mark prepare for a dive.

Renda and Mark just before exiting the plane.  Renda's tandem master was Cindy, owner of the School of Human Flight.  Hey with a name like that it just has to be good.

More pics of Joe, Joe Jr., Mark and Renda after their jump.  Is Mark happy?  Happy he jumped and even happier to be on the ground.  We know he will dive again.

Upon our return from the jump center, we were confronted with the dance of the rain fairies.  It was indeed a magical day.  And a sad day as the trip is nearly over.  But for now the celebration continues.  Tomorrow we ride to Jacksonville for the final leg of the journey.  Stay tuned.
