Today was a visitation day at the HealthSouth Rehabilitation center in Memphis, Tennessee.  The boys always look forward to these visits and today was no exception.  Here the boys pose with some of the law enforcement staff at a local fire station in Memphis who agreed to escort us to the center.

Here the boys (with Glen) do an incredibly lame Elvis imitation.  Note the Elvis shades.  Actually this looks more like air surfing.  After this photo the boys were promptly arrested for imitating Elvis without a license.  Hey its a crime to fraudulently pose as the king in this neck of the woods.  Please send bail money to:  AAA Bail funds, PO Box 00000, Elvisville, TN (your kind donation is tax deductible).

We finally made it to the HealthSouth center where Jerry recites a letter from the Mayor proclaiming this to be AAA day.  Jim, ever the rebel, refuses to remove his Elvis shades.  He was escorted out of the building shortly after this photo was taken.

The boys are joined by Valerie, a bilateral amputee and former patient at the HealthSouth center.  Her speech was inspirational and heartwarming.  Once again she proved, through her determination, that amputees can indeed lead fullfilling and rewarding lives despite the loss of limbs.

Here the boys meet with some of the amputees at the rehabilitation center.  The boys always enjoy meeting and talking with patients and staff at the center.

Pictured with Bruce is Adrienne, an above the knee amputee.  Also pictured is her mother.  Her smile and positive attitude was inspirational to us all.

The boys have perfected the art of eating.  This activity ranks high up on the list of favorite things to do and by the look of it, they are consummate professionals.  The HealthSouth staff provided us with an excellent meal and the lunch was most appreciated.

More pics of the lunch.  The staff and patients all enjoyed the fine meal.  Pictured on the left is John Keating and his son Lane.  Its a genuine pleasure getting to know them both and we look forward to spending more time on the road with these fine gentlemen.

Later in the afternoon, the boys visited a second HealthSouth center for more talks and visits with patients.  The reception we received at both facilities was overwhelming and heartfelt.  Pictured with the AAA gang are Mary and Brenda, administrators at the facility.

Pictured to the right are some of the patients who greeted us and listened to our tales of adventures on the road, some of which were even true.  Staff and patients look on in shocked disbelief as the boys recount a sighting of Elvis on Beale street the night before.  Elvis Lives!!!!

Some of the patients and staff at attendance in the HealthSouth facility.  It was truly wonderful to meet these fine people.

More tall tales by the boys force the HealthSouth staff to rest their weary feet and wonder "When will these boys stop talking?"

Here Mary introduces the boys to the HealthSouth staff and patients.  Mary is a wonderful lady and was kind enough to put up with our jaded humor and long winded stories.  All in all, it was another incredible visit with patients and staff and we will remember our visitation here in Memphis for many years.

Tomorrow we drive to an airport near Memphis where Joe, Bruce and Jim will skydive.  The boys also send out a big howdy to Katie and Debi in Colorado Srpings.  We miss you guys.  Stay tuned AAA fans.
