Mike Mullins Skydive

It was another clear but humid day for the gang as Bruce, Jim and Joe prepared to skydive.  This was Bruce and Jim's second skydive and they were chomping at the bit to hurl (as in fall out of) a plane and experience the incredible effects of controlled gravity.  But prior to the jump, the gang had a great breakfast at the Pit Stop Restaurant.  Pictured with the boys is a smiling waitress and a Mr. Petty who wished the boys well.

The sky was somewhat cloudy but light winds so the jump was on.  The entire gang showed up, including Lane Keating, who is pictured below.  Seen here are actual photos of Lane jumping from the plane for his very first skydive.   

More incredible action packed photos of Lane's departure from the plane.  And of course floating effortlessly to earth in his customized Ohio Willow Wood chute. 

Here Glen lands after his first tandem jump.  Man, he was pumped and claims he will jump again.  Lane is on the left giving him the thumbs up.  It was quite a day.

Jim and Trish after Jim's jump.  Pictured at left are the gang after the jumps with the King Air that lifted us into the sky.  Also pictured with us is Mike Mullins, owner of the jump zone and renowned figure in skydiving circles.  It was an honor to jump at his establishment and meet this great man.  Tomorrow we ride to Nashville.
