We left Hutchison, Kansas on our way to Wichita today under clear skies and fair breezes.  Another good day to ride.  Today's ride was dedicated to those great folks in Administration at Ohio Willow Wood.  The AAA boys spent more than a few days at the Ohio Willow Wood facility last winter and we wish to thank the staff in the administrative section for never following through with Meredy's threat to call security.  You guys and gals are great.  The great people in administrative support are: 

Mitch Neff,  Tammy Dick, Amy Jones, Brian Stroup, Donna Swartz

As we said it was a fine day for riding with the exception of Jim who was having some minor problems with his leg and he wisely "sat this one out".  But as usual, he smiled and helped with the driving tasks so his lovely wife Trish could ride.  What a guy.         

Ok, this is hay.  There is a lot of hay in Kansas.  There were round bales and square bales.  Everywhere we turned there were bales and bales and bales of hay.  I mean the state is full of hay.  We also want to mention we have refrained from any corny Oz jokes, not because we are above that, its just that we couldn't think of any good ones. 

Here is the crew with Cheryl and Trish on one of our few breaks.  The roads were smooth and the shoulders were wide.  A bicyclers paradise.  Well maybe not a paradise but pleasant anyway.  Personally I think we all have inhaled a bit too many diesel fumes.  We have traveled through five states so far and life is good on the road with this crew.

Jim gives Mark some helpful tips on bike mounting while the rest of the gang look on.  Why is Jim always smiling?  Hmmmmm.  We ended our day in Wichita in anticipation of a visitation at the HealthSouth facility tomorrow.  See ya.
