Jonathan Houy and Andy Russell (Steeler Emeritus 1963-1975) join the wolf pack for the ride into HealthSouth Harmarville

We are bored with the level ride but learn to...

love the hills.

Durn that kid riding a bicycle with one leg.  He is making the gang look bad.  We are in awe nonetheless.

A great reception

Many wonderful people

Listening to the guys and gals share experiences

We are inspired by those we meet

Joanne of the J's clan

Another J meets J

Joe takes a dirt road shortcut through the Pennsylvania hills to highway 910.  Oh yee of so little faith.  Richard becomes a gesticulating machine and dissolves into a pool of apprehensive sweat.  But once again the magic of gps saves Joe from the van lynching party.

We arrive finally after the entire crew of the van falls asleep at a stop sign and wakes up to find the truck has moved on to the assembly area.  Talk about vigilance.  After a frantic race down a country road, they miraculously find the assembly point and rejoin the party. We quickly reform and depart for HealthSouth Rehab Hospital  Sewickley, Pa.

Here is photo proof of the dog, chasing some turkeys,  that ran out in front of Gino Bonetti halfway up the hill, causing him to stop in order to avoid the collision.  Jill, we are sure will confirm this incident and regretfully leaves Dino to push his bike up the remaining few feet to the top of the hill.

Another wonderful reception

Gino's nitroglycerine pill begins to take effect.  The girls liked his cute legs though.

Thumper explains why people call him Thumper

Richard regales the crowd with stories

While the wolf pack looks on

All of the patients agree that the wolf pack is nuts not because they are riding bikes across the United States, but because they have to put up with Joe.

We get to talk to many and present all with personal messages on our Attitude posters.

We honor those who minister to the needs of amputees in rehabilitation centers across this nation, the HealthSouth family of practitioners and care givers, and to those with physical challenges who inspire us all with their courage so that we can go on.  We can only say thank you for all that you do and have done to support the Amputees Across America mission of outreach.
