John Williamson, from Hanger Prosthetics, joined the riders for a day of bicycling around the battlefields of Gettysburg.  Just look at the awesome machine he rides.

I am not sure, but I would guess Joe is warning John about us.  He tells so many tales and exaggerates just a little about us.

Cruising around the Gettysburg National Park battlefield area the group was able to look at many areas where battles were fought in the Civil War.  This area, known as the Devil's Den was taken and held by Confederate soldiers where they were able to place their snipers to fire upon the Union officers.

This is one of the many memorials scattered throughout the battlefields.  This one is to honor the Irish Brigade and the sacrifices they made.  To actually be able to visit the battlefields, read about events that occurred here, recognize the sacrifices that brave soldiers from both sides made, and recognize this area for the major part it played in the history and establishment of our great country was a very sobering experience.

After riding for miles, these casualties of war probably drew many stares and second glances from other visitors to the park as they recovered and slept upon the park grass.  Who knows what tomorrow holds?
