Our last day in the state of Illinois.  After being there for about week, we set out to continue our journey eastward.  As we traveled down the farm lanes, surrounded by fields of corn, the humidity and temperature began to rise.

Bear, the vicious guard dog, and his owner, came out to check the strange people in front of their residence.  She was kind enough to fill our water jug with cool well water.  Thank You!

Don't these fields ever end?

"Work the crowd! Work the crowd!"  With these words drummed into our heads by the mean and evil Joe, the riders greet people along the way.  At this lunch stop we visited with people from Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Somebody doesn't have a leg to stand on!  You can tell it is not Kip by the deep concentration he is putting into this effort of examining his eyelids for pinholes.

The storm clouds are gathering to the west as James and Renee' cruise down the road.
