A great start to a great day of riding.  Leaving Ely, Nevada this morning, we headed up into the mountain range where we had a good downhill ride with a nice tail wind.  We seemed to have the road nearly to ourselves for much of the day.

US 50, "The loneliest road in America", stretched out before us.

We enjoy our downhill ride, while keeping a good riding formation.

Kip led our ride today, which turned out to be one of our best rides yet.  We kept our pace steady and maintained good communication with each other the entire route.

Leaving Nevada and entering Utah.  We are one time zone closer to our finish line.

"Huh?  Ham?  What ham?  I haven't seen any ham around here.  Never mind that bulge in my shirt.  Just keep looking in the trailer, Joe.  It has to be there somewhere."

The Salt Flats, off in the distance was just one of many fascinating views that greeted us as we rode into Utah.

Chris, one of our Junior Ambassadors, and James at one of our rest stops along the way.  Chris had a terrific ride today and made us all proud.
