It was a dark, cold morning, but we pressed on to Salt Lake City. No one was fully awake, but the brisk air was better than a cup of coffee. When the sun finally rose we began to thaw.

A nice, tight formation, we are becoming like professionals at this riding thing.

Here James is smoozing the brothers, trying to wheedle out another patch.

Assembled and ready to roll.

We arrive at Healthsouth in Sandy just as the bottom falls from the clouds. The Sandy police provided an excellent and safe escort.

Of course Joe somehow missed getting wet. Imagine that. Notice that Keith is missing. He was afraid that he would melt. Luke and Howard joined us in Salt Lake and will accompany the group to Colorado Springs.

The reception by the staff and patients at Healthsouth was really great. The news media was on hand to interview all of us.

We were lucky to have met Shaun who wowed us with his cycling skills and speed.

Richard is at his best when he gets to schmooze with a captive audience. Most people sit and listen and nod their heads and smile; when he walks away they look at each other and ask :"What did he say?"                         Gloria and Keith seem to be confused as to which way  the party is. Our visit was both heartwarming and belly-filling, thanks to the efforts of Erin Bennett and all of the staff at the Sandy HealthSouth Rehab Hospital.
