After only one wrong turn, we arrived at Chapparal High School where we were greeted by the HealthSouth official greeter, Bradley Cooper.
Joined shortly by the remaining HealthSouth welcoming committee, Laurance, Chris, Karen, and Brad Cooper the group of riders prepares for the ride into the facility.
After a short five mile ride, the group of riders arrived at the facility exactly on time and without incident.
Here the group shows its skills in formation bicycle riding, led by Gabriel and Bill
We were welcomed by Richard Schulz, CEO and, shown here, by Kevin Osterman, Councilman, Scottsdale, Arizona who offered Bill parole and a get out of jail free card.
Here the Amputees Across America ambassadors are caught in the act of shaking down the HealthSouth patients for loose change. John excels at raising much needed funds with his shell game scam and Bill is shown asking for his cut of the bridge club and Bingo proceeds.
Beth is having none of Bill's bluster. As a second grade teacher she has already seen all of the antics of unruly kids and has already confiscated Bill's water pistol. Bill is banished to the corner of the room and will lose his recess. Good job Beth!
Having no luck with Beth, Bill moves on to other patients. His sore arm ploy doesn't seem to be working either.
Bill finally give up after his offer to perform cut-rate heart surgery is refused.
Joe and John continue to talk with patients
Finally, when no one is looking, Bill succeeds in removing the wrist watch of an elderly patient.
John talks with Bradley
and consoles this patient over the loss of her wrist watch.
Joe talks with patients while Bill arm wrestles a patient for nickels.
