Bill balks when he finds out that the terms of his contract with AAA includes a skydive. Soon our intrepid adventurer is dragged out and loaded onto the back of a truck to be taken out to his airplane. His last words were, "Elvis has now left the drop zone."
Finally, kicking and screaming Bill leaves a finger scratched trail from his seat to the door of the aircraft. One gentle shove and our Wild Will plummets through two miles of air.
A gentle tug, and Billy Bob, and other assorted sky trash makes a near perfect landing.
Having a near death experience, Bill goes into his thanking everyone for saving his life mode. He begins by hugging everyone within ten feet of him. Countless onlookers scramble away to avoid Bill's rapture.
With no one else to thank, Bill kisses the only thing remaining.
Meanwhile, our Kennedy look alike, prepares for his first jump.
It wasn't long and a lifetime dream came to fruition.
It was over before he knew it, but Andrew was in his element. Climbing mountains, riding bicycles, skydiving, Andrew shows everyone what they are capable of achieving.
A final picture of our two adventurers.
James Thayer of the 2004 ride, joins our little tea party at the jump zone. James, affectionately known as Thumper or Jams, will shepherd us across Colorado and Kansas. Based on his previous law enforcement experience, his involvement was the only condition for the Governor to grant Bill free passage across the state.
We depart Canon City, taking a side tour to the Royal Gorge and arrived at Colorado Springs where we were the dinner guests of Howard and Emma Myers, Luke's parents. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
