Today was get out of town before the local constable came to check on the status of truck bed seat belts. Heading out of town, north into the badlands of Nevada, we were able to empty the truck cab of kids and assorted immigrant Mexicans who hitched a ride.
Unloading at the top of a 30 mile hill, Bill's only comment was, Golleeeee! Lookee the mountains."
The day couldn't have been better. A strong tailwind, smooth road, wide shoulder, no traffic, downhill all the way. We barely pedaled.
Here is the sun dunce kid brandishing his 45 caliber water pistol. Just before the local sheriff carted him off to the hoosegow. Bill kept shouting, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."
