We leave Dothan behind, and travel through a little town with three standing buildings and a railroad crossing. Unfortunately, one of the buildings is a barbershop and Abel pitches a hissy until Joe relents and stops.
Cliff and Annie patiently sit and catch up on their reading.
Abel loses an inch of hair off his head. Joe is ecstatic, and cancels his order for shoe lifts from the Acme Shoe Lift Company.
