Abel and Annie prepare for the first ride of the day. Abel adjusts the frequency of his hearing aid to pick up a local FM radio station while Annie has licked her finger and is testing the direction of the wind.
Annie tracks down Abel and runs him to ground like a dirty dog. Abel promises to behave but is seen holding his hands behind his back and crossing his fingers.
It is Cliff's and Joe's turn to ride but there is a loud clattering sound and gnashing of gears as Cliff starts riding. We are not sure if it is the bike or Cliff's knees making all of the racket.
Determining that it is Cliff's bike that is exhibiting symptoms of Cheynes Stokes, Cliff sends Joe on ahead while he gnashes both his teeth and the gears of his bicycle.
Joe completes his ride and stands proudly atop his trusty bubble bike.
Then looks for Cliff.
Who comes rattling, and cawterwallin his way to cross the 20 mile finish line.
