Luke has been studying the Tour de France intensively and has decided that these are the two best looks for cyclists. The first can make those who are vertically challenged seem tall. The second look is great for those who want to show off their shapely rump region and it also completely reverses the flabby chicken wing effect in the arms.

AJ looks extra perky today. Perhaps it’s because all of the curls on her head are a bit too tight or maybe it’s due to the 10 hours of sleep she got last night. It’s probably just because she remembers where she hid the pencil that Luke’s been looking for at the KOA in Benton, Illinois.

Joe is seen testing his newest bubblebike gadget. He takes the curve at a mere 30 mph. Then we see him engaging the afterburners and accelerating to 184 mph.

After 3 ½ miles, he’s able to slow down enough for us to capture him again on film.

AJ tries to pull a patient out of his chair so she can sit down. Doesn’t everyone realize that they’re in the presence of gimp royalty?!

Brady puts on quite a show for all of us! Joe quickly runs to the truck to fetch the giant tuna that he’s been keeping in the cooler so that Brady can make him some fish filets. Luke just tries to steal Brady’s shoes—he thinks he could really make a statement in them when he goes to college this fall.

We were greeted by a wonderful group of people. The patients and their families that we met didn’t have to even come out of their rooms—our visit happening on a Sunday. That being said, the encouragement they showed just by attending was a moving testament to their character and their desire to get better!

In his latest copy of Psychosis Today, Joe read that people that get more hugs are happier in general so Joe began his speech by asking the crowd to give themselves hugs.

Before AJ could actually start speaking about overcoming adversity as a no-legged princess, she looked at the floor and went into her soft shoe dance routine.

The audience sits beguiled and enthralled by the team of AAA riders who demonstrate time and time again that a smile, a warm hand shake, and a hug go a long way in the process of healing. Our thanks to HealthSouth Rehab Hospital of Harmarville whose warm welcome and generous support made our visit a great one.
