It was a dark and stormy night... arising with the dawn, we rolled Lukas out of bed to get AJ to the airport in time to make an afternoon flight.  In accordance with the game-plan of the Joe Sapere School of Driving,  one must allow plenty of time to arrive two hours ahead of the scheduled flight departure time.  And so we allowed time for four u turns, five detours, one clover-J, 18 wrong turns, and a shortcut that guaranteed a timely arrival at our destination.  Aside from getting lost, having to boot the computer twice, beating up on Lukas, making a u turn over a curb and across a raised median strip, Joe arrived at the airport exactly on time to see a very shakey AJ off for her flight home.

Passing through the mountains of Pennsylvania, Joe climbs through fog, mist, and rain to Altoona. Lukas crouches in the backseat in fear of Joe making him get out and ride down a cliff in the rain.  Fortunately, Joe overlooks the whimpers coming from the back seat and continues to drive through the murk and rain with no further incidents.

Hoping for better weather tomorrow, the torrid two-some arrived at their plush Super7.33 accomodations just ahead of the storm.

A quick trip to HealthSouth where we were greeted by a semi-sized Billboard announcing our arrival.
