Travel to Mechanicsburg, Pa

We begin our day with heat.  At 9:00 AM after promising Luke that he can sleep as long as he wishes, Joe inadvertently moves the thermostat in the room up to 90 degrees.  Luke discovers that he no longer wishes to sleep past 9:00 AM and thanks Joe for being so understanding and patient waiting for him to awaken.  After taking meds for hot flashes, Luke is ready to face the day of riding on a bike trail around State College.
 


But the heat continues and the humidity makes the ride very tough.  After slogging it out, we decided to turn around and discover that we have been riding uphill (with a real optical illusion that it was level).  The return trip was a joy never having to turn a crank.  A quick truck ride to the hotel in Mechanicsburg and all is right with the world.
