The boys sent AJ off to do a local radio show so they could tell mean stories about how her singing sounds like a someone is stepping on a deaf hyena’s toes. Thanks to KNMI radio and Jim Baker for their hospitality and for giving our princess a bigger ego than usual.

Mayor Stanley, Farmington’s fearless leader, warns the general public to stay inside and puts the Farmington P.D. on high terror alert prior to the arrival of Abel, Doc, and Cliff and their sticky fingers. The Princess, Queen, and Annie arrived a few minutes later and were deemed as non-threatening individuals.

Cliff (AAA alumni 2007) captivates the audience with his wit, charm, and sexy “hot peppers” leg. Thanks to Cliff and his wife, Annie, for putting up with us----I mean, putting us up for a few nights.

Abel begins telling his life story to the crowd. He had them almost interested up until the time that he told the story of how one of his sisters took away his little red wagon when he was 4 and how he has suffered from post traumatic stress disorder ever since.

We’ll never admit defeets…defoot…defeet…defeat!

Doc laughs and laughs and forgets what he was laughing at and then laughs and laughs some more…what he’s laughing at, nobody knows but at least he’s a happy camper.

AJ gives the crowd a little taste of her exquisite singing voice with a round of “Muskrat Love.” All the muskrats in Farmington evacuated to places unknown.

The audience is enraptured by AJ’s rendition of “Muskrat Love” as evidenced by this photo.

Someone and somebody are amused by AJ as she demonstrates how easily she forgets everything. All joking aside, Joyce is working hard to help Virginia use various strategies to help jog her memory after surviving a brain injury caused by a car wreck. Write it down, Virginia, write it down.

It’s been a year since our last visit to San Juan Regional Rehabilitation Hospital and Tina is STILL laying down on the job. Lorinda takes a break from doing crunches to beguile us with her huge smile.

Special note from Annie

Abel is SO dirty that he left chunks in the tub. Of course, the chunks were the remnants of a soap container that Abel ripped down in the shower wall. Abel says he was just helping them begin remodeling their bathroom.

Our thanks to the staff at the San Juan Regional Rehabilitation Hospital and to Cliff and Annie Clark for their warm hospitality and for putting up with Abel.  Everyone made us feel welcome and didn't seem to mind in the least bit listening to Abel's two hour life story.
