Down Day
|
|
|
After
braving an atrocious Kansas heat and
getting
slapped in the face with a dreadful headwind, our weary riders earned a day
off. Abel gently suggested that we
give the truck a good field day, but that idea was quickly shot down.
Instead, we spent our day hanging out with our old friends, James and
Trisha. Well, James and Trisha aren’t old. Ok, so maybe they’re old to the
under 10 crowd. Crud. What we meant to say is that we’ve known them for a
while. Regardless, the pizza and camaraderie with our friends was well worth
the torturous ride into Wichita. Thanks James and Trisha for putting up with
us yet again |

![]() On a sad note, we had to say sayonara to the lovely Queen Margie today. It seems as though AJ’s dogs are getting a tad restless at “Camp Papaw” and the Queen was called back home to retake control of the terrible twosome. The Queen deserves our genuine thanks for putting up with our limb-challenged wonders and for driving us (crazy—hee hee hee). |
